SUMMER LEAGUE INFORMATION IS NOW AVAILABLE! As long as we are given the ok to open the week of July 13th, we will be starting summer leagues. At this time, we are not sure of our timeframe on opening. It is our hope that we will be open, but we don't have any inside information or guarantees. If you would like to sign up, please visit our SUMMER LEAGUES page for info. You can also send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org. Thank you for your patience during this time. We can't wait to be given the green light to open and get back to bowling.

We have been getting a lot of phone calls and messages to find out if we are open yet, so we wanted to send out an update…
We are NOT currently allowed to open. We are hoping that we will be in the next phase that Governor Whitmer opens, but at this time, bowling centers are still mandated to remain closed for bowling. We have not received any information on when we will possibly be allowed to open for bowling. We are hoping that it will be soon. We are in the same boat as all of you are, missing bowling and hoping that we can open soon.
In the meantime, we have been working on some cosmetic upgrades, including some newly painted areas. We have also been deep cleaning the bowling center, and working on securing cleaning and sanitizing supplies for future cleaning procedures. When the time comes, we will be ready to open!
Please note that when you do get to come in for the first time, things may look a little different and we do have to implement some new procedures in order to safely open. We are learning from bowling centers in other states on what their best practices are and working to implement them for our bowling center. The health and safety of our staff and our customers is our number one priority.
As long as we are allowed to be open, our goal is to run a couple of short six-week summer leagues starting the week of July 13th for those who would like to get back into bowling shape for the fall season. Even if we can open sooner, we feel comfortable with this date, as it allows for us to have time to promote the leagues and get comfortable with our new way of operating. It’s been a LONG 12 weeks and counting at this point, and we know that there are those who are anxious to get back to bowling in leagues! There will be information and sign up forms on our website on Monday, June 15th. Please remember that we may have capacity restrictions, so please don’t wait to sign up if you’re interested.
We would like to end this email with a very heartfelt THANK YOU to all of you! We have received numerous emails, phone calls, and messages from customers expressing their support of our business and how much bowling is missed. The messages are very much appreciated. We truly think of you all as family, and we cannot wait to see you all in person again. We hope that you and your family are doing well and staying safe, and we hope that we will see you soon.

Dear Bowlers and Friends –
We are now in week 7 of the government mandated closure for our bowling center. We kept holding out hope that we would be able to open at the conclusion of the previous mandates, but at this time, the earliest we will be able to open for business is after May 28th. Please know that once the mandates are lifted, we will be opening, but until that time, we are unable to conduct business. We have been working on some building improvements and maintenance during this time, and we are excited for you to see it all once we are open.
We know that many are wondering about their leagues ending and payouts. We are starting to work through contacting leagues with information on league ending and payout information. Please look for an email from us over the next couple of days with information specific to your leagues. If we are not the officer of your league, please look for information from your league officers, as we can not speak for them.
As far as summer leagues go, we are still planning to run a summer league or two, even if they only able to run for a shorter number of weeks than originally anticipated. We will be running a drop in league for sure, and we will be emailing information out on that in the next week or so. Please be patient on that as our priority right now is getting 2019-2020 leagues finalized and completed.
We hope that this email finds you and your family doing well and staying healthy. We know that it has been a LONG 7 weeks without bowling, and we miss bowling and our bowlers so much! We can’t wait to see you once it is safe for us to do so. If you have any questions, please send us an email at or a message on Facebook. We monitor those daily.
Thank you for your patience and understanding during this very difficult time.

Dear Bowlers and Friends -
We are at a point now where we would like to send out a short update. Unfortunately, we would love to be able to say that we are on the original timeframe of reopening after next week, but on Monday, March 23rd, Governor Gretchen Whitmer issued the "stay home, stay safe" executive order. As part of that executive order, businesses that are non-essential, like bowling centers, are required to remain closed through April 13th. This means that the EARLIEST we will be able to reopen is on April 14th, provided there is not an extension.
Again, we ask that you please keep in mind that we are in a completely unprecedented and ever changing global pandemic. There are no precedents for us to follow with how to handle everything and there isn't a lot of information comig in to help us out. We ask for your patience as we try to navigate through this incredibly uncertain time.
We miss bowling and we miss you all. We hope that you are all doing well and staying healthy and safe. Please reach out via email at if you have any specific questions that we can try and answer or even just to check in to let us know how you are doing. As always, you can follow us on Facebook for updates as well.

March 16, 2020-
Dear Town N Country Lanes Bowlers,
Like so many of you, we have spent the last several days and weeks learning about the coronavirus (COVID-19) and how it is impacting our community. As you know, we are in a national state of emergency in response to the COVID-19 virus. The governor is also declaring that all bars and restaurants must shut down at 3:00 pm today (Monday, March 16th).
Based on the current government mandates, we are closing for the time being, effective immediately; This may be a week, it may be longer. We can assure you that we are closely monitoring the situation and trying our best to make decisions with the health and safety of our staff and our customers in mind. We will send out weekly updates as things go along.
We know that many of you will have questions, and unfortunately we do not have many answers at this time. This is such an unprecedented situation that we are currently in, there is no handbook or protocol to follow for guidance. We can assure you that we are gathering as many resources as we can and we are hoping that we will have some answers soon, but please be patient.
One of the things that we do know is that we have spent years building relationships with our bowlers and we consider you all to be our extended family. Please know that we are thinking of all of you as you navigate this time as well. Please stay safe and stay in touch.
We can be reached on Facebook and via email at email@example.com.
